SCA Cases AI Model Upgraded

OpenAI just released their latest AI model, the GPT 4.0 mini yesterday. We are delighted to announce that the SCA cases generator for the patient notes and mark scheme have now been upgraded to this from 3.5. This will improve the quality of the cases generated to help with your SCA revision.

The doctor’s notes generator still relies on GPT 4, as this is still slightly superior to the GPT 4.0 mini. It has always run on GPT 4 and will continue to do so, as it uses the full patient notes in its notes generation prompt.

What has changed?

With the upgrade of the SCA cases generator from GPT 3.5 to 4.0 mini, the quality of the patient notes and the mark schemes has been greatly enhanced.

As you can see below in the two examples for an auto generated case under the Urgent and Unscheduled care domain, with the ‘sinusitis’ as an extra prompt.

GPT 4.0 mini patient case notes are more detailed, with further information split under various headings.

You can still play around with entering more or less information in the optional field on the form. This can be especially useful if you want a case focused. on a specific area that you may not be familiar with.
